Changes all around

Things have been changing so much in my life as of late. Some much sooner than I would like and others not soon enough. Still change is bound to happen and we must accept and learn to adapt.

My bed rest has been tightened. Not much that can be done at this point. Just need to hold out for 7 more weeks. In order to help pass the time i decided to add 2 more blogs. 1 to focus on Abby and my pregnancy and the second focusing on not only mine but also Tisha's wedding. I hopefully should be posting on this one more often too.

I put together work packets and journals for Kayleigh to keep her on track for first grade and set aside learning time for her and I. I even went a step further and put together some activities for the girls to do over the summer. Some with me while on bed rest and others on their own. Most important is I have the 1 on 1 time set for them daily.

Kiersten at the age of 12 has already begun to set herself on track for college. She has applied, tested and interviewed for a few programs. She has received acceptance to all. She has always exceeded school standards so i have no doubt that this will be a breeze for her. I do however feel that with her becoming a teen it will help to keep her and her priorities on track. Sometimes it is easy to lose yourself in the mist of cheerleading,basketball and friends.

It looks like Karl will be taking a maternity leave with me when Abby is born. We are not sure on the amount but it should be around anywhere from 4-6 weeks. With having the c-section, it will be much easier having him around for that time. I know he is looking forward to having some bonding time with her as well as showing her off. He is definitely a proud father to be.
